How to fix cursor flickering issue

Hello! I’ve been trying to use my pen more for sculpting, but I keep running into the most annoying problem.

If I ever take my pen away from the screen (say to take a break or click on something on another monitor) I get this flickering issue that prevents me from doing anything. Going back to my mouse doesn’t fix it either. I just sort of flail around and wait for a while and it goes back to normal, or I close nomad.

Based on how the cursor acts completely normal on any other application, I’m pretty confident it’s a nomad problem. If it helps, I have a huion kamvas 22.

Thanks for any help in advance!

Try enabling Windows Ink maybe, and check if it’s set in Nomad. Or check in tablet driver the input method. It’s simmilar issue with SAI probably

I just tried all 4 combinations of turning windows ink and wintab on and off, and the only combination that stopped the issue was turning both off, but now I don’t have pressure sensitivity

omg… if tablet driver is installed properly, that’s might be an actual nomad issue

I haven’t seen anyone else talk about it so it’s probably something wonky on my end, I just cannot figure out how to stop it and keep pressure sensitivity. I’ll try reinstalling my tablet driver now

Maybe it’s something wrong with windows version, cause some modern apps ain’t working properly on windows 7 or old versions of windows 10. But that’s hardly a case.

I wish, but no I have a new version of windows. Updating my driver didn’t fix the issue, but it did change it. Now it seems to only happen when I move my cursor to another monitor and wait a while, then it gets made if I go to sculpt. And I can fix it now by taking the window out of fullscreen and moving the cursor around a bit. Still annoying, but better, and that does mean it has to do with the way my drawing tablet is interacting with nomad.

I hope you can find out how to fix it! :smiling_face_with_tear::handshake:
