There is no mask on the mesh…
But I guess what you want to do…
If you want to stamp the animal as a mask on the plane:
Change Mask Tool settings:
lock radius mode - flat falloff - no pressure
Increase Plane mesh density - e.g. 4 times multires - about 300000 Polycount or more
Turn off symmetry
Then stamp the mask…
And your image is not optimal it’s not complete black white… but it should work if you press sharpen when the image is applied as mask …
