Maybe old news, but I found out today that around a few weeks ago, NVidia released new consumer card drivers that allow using OpenGL over Remote Desktop. This only had been possible with the high priced Quadro cards until then.
This means you can start blender on your home desktop even while on the train and (with the proper workflow) see your Nomad PBR creations rendered with Cycles or Octane
