This is going to sound like a roundabout way to do it, but that’s because Nomad isn’t really built for Blender-style box modeling.
1.) Turn the part you’re trying to extrude into a face group.
2.) Sel-Mask that face group, and mask extract with a positive value, and smoothness set to ‘0’.
3.) Clear the mask.
4.) Go to the interface menu, go to the debug option, and scroll to the bottom where you’ll see an option that says ‘Feature’, and tap the ‘Join: merge radius’ box.
5.) Go to your scene menu, and select the original object, and the extracted mesh, and choose ‘join’.
This will permanently join the vertices at the intersection of the two shapes.
