Creating a new project, and clicking "delete" before saving, will try to delete the previously open project

ran into this little one just now, as title says

open existing project,

create new project,

before saving, click “delete” it will delete previous project (two confirmations required, but still maybe grey out delete button?)

Not really a bug, currently a project is always selected in the selector view.
