Subject: Nomad Sculpt – File Saving Bug
Hello,
I would like to report an issue I encountered while working in the Nomad Sculpt application.
While saving my project, an unexpected problem occurs: the current project I’m working on gets saved over another existing project file. As a result, even though the files have different names, they end up containing the exact same 3D models, and one of the original projects is lost.
This issue causes data loss and confusion between projects. I kindly request that this be investigated and resolved with an update as soon as possible.
Thank you for your attention,
I don’t think it works as you explained.
There’s however a bug that can be confusing: if you delete a project, the currently opened project will changes the active opened project (so in that case, you should not use the save button as it will override the active project).
For this nomad version it’s best to not use the delete option to delete another project for now (or make sure to re-open the correct project afterwards)
Everything is exactly as described to you. If, for example, you overwrite or re-save the current project, and then try to open another project, nothing will happen. But as soon as you restart the application, the project you tried to open will disappear without a trace. I lost a week’s work this way. I understand when the application crashes with data loss, but deleting a project while opening it, I think, is a serious mistake!
No you are digging up a 1 year old thread, it was another bug.
