This depends on the GPU architecture and memory amount and efficiency. iOS has great memory management so its very efficient but that doesn’t mean that all iPads are better than an Android alternative. A programmer can just as easily develop an app to be extremely efficient with memory.
My Tab S8 (Snapdragon 8 Gen1, 8GB) definitely doesnt hold back with Nomad Sculpt but its probably extremely crippled because developers/programmers seem to bypass new architecture features, even if the API has the tools to utilize them.
Also, duplicating mesh and/or texture maps doesn’t take up more memory because the data is already cached for fast accesss. This changes when you edit a copy of the mesh/texture but even then its just a minor change in size if the memory management is tight.
