Is it too complicated to add the feature to convert geo into an alpha map like zbrush???. Maybe adding the feature to bake a displacement map from a plane would work. I know we can use a painting app to convert textures into alphas but we can’t know how exactly it would look until we apply it on the 3d model, so it takes more time experimenting until we get what we want
Under debug we have the heightmap option to create b&w bump/displacement from geometry.
Else you can bake from high poly to low poly including displacement.
There are a bunch of tutorials out there.
