Hopefully I’ve properly described the problem. Trying to follow this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-o38kORqt8 and I’ve just about managed to get an alpha to appear on one of the tri-planar surfaces, but it doesn’t create any object. No idea where I am going wrong, very much a noob.
Please can anyone offer some advice?
I’m guessing the object has no width? I think he only unmasked one wall where he did the wing but left the mask on the other two otherwise your wing will have no volume

Sorry for the delay. Thanks for the reply! Not sure if that was what was wrong but moving the wing on to a different plane (not sure if that is the correct terminology) fixed it. I’m pleased with the finshed sculpt
