Symmetry z fighting near axes

Hey everyone!

Sporadically, when following this procedure, I am getting z fighting (including pronounced edges, especially when using a tool) around the axes, there are probably some triangles or quads doubled:

  1. Enable symmetry on X Y Z
  2. Sculpt somewhat “high” res mesh (maybe 300k)
  3. Decimate to 20%
  4. Manually mirror from left to right (I need that for symmetrical vertex painting)

I may be able to update with a screenshot if needed and if I am getting this again.
