I love the long-hold option to edit a line, but what I would absolutely LOVE to see would be the ability to hold say, shift and lock a brush tool to a straight line as you sculpt/draw/paint. I imagine that’d be more complicated with volumes that are not flat, but a useful feature nonetheless!
I don’t get it. Since you can edit a line with long hold, you can ensure it has only two control points, thus you have a straight line. So you can already have this, no?
Or do you want a kind of shortcut needing a keyboard to get straight lines faster?
Yes, sorry. Not very clear. Holding down a key to lock it in a straight line on PC I should’ve said. I feel that’d speed up instances of needing to draw many straight lines one after the other without the need for the long hold edit each time. Does that make more sense?

Yes. I agree it would be useful, or just a polyline option for most tools (clay, crease, etc.).
It should be in the latest update, bound to the tab key
