Starting with 1.91, the shortcut gesture for history is too sensitive and is often mistakenly touched!

The shortcut gestures for undoing and redoing history when doing view zoom, especially the undo determination for two finger taps on the screen were too sensitive and often misused, and now the shortcut gestures for history have to be turned off. This situation is worse for girls who have worn a manicure! Feedback has been received from many students.

Same issue for me on the iPad.

Hard to tell in what way it’s accidentally activated
Maybe the minimum finger movement required to activate pan and zoom could be made configurable by the user, as sort of a “tap sensitivity”.

You can try deactivating “long press” in the gesture settings too

Interesting too to hear it’s being used in a school setting would be cool to hear more about it

:joy:Yes, long presses were actually turned off a long time ago due to being too sensitive, but it’s even more inconvenient to have two-finger taps and three-finger taps turned off again because they’re now also very sensitive and easy to accidentally touch.

I would love to be able to reassign 3 finger tap to undo and just disable 2 finger tap altogether. My palm and pinky trigger the 2 finger tap all the time.

Have you tried adjusting the Palm Rejection setting?

I had problems with pinky/palm triggering undo a lot as well but adjusted it and don’t have it happen as much. You just have to spread your fingers a little wider for two finger undo.

Yeah, I’ve got that set to 80 and it definitely does help but I still undo without meaning to. I’ve gotten kind of used to it. The same thing happened with Krita but remapping undo to 3 solved everything. Super helpful.
