Hi, how’s everyone doing, good I hope. I’m trying to figure out, how to split these two sections the brown color shape and the tan color shape. I’d like to split it in half so they retain their shapes, is this possible?

Sorry, here’s the pic.
Ok I think You could switch to Face groups those colored sections should be on differenc face groups… Now use those face groups to mask those areas (I believe it’s on tap) and then split those parts using Mask - Split menu setting top right (use fill option for split operation so You have faces on the surface of the cut that match each other.
