It’s for the tools with path options. Would be lovely to save I.e. lasso as active state when opening tool forever.

At least, I didn’t find something about this in json file and it is not saved. Can one add the code in json file by oneself?

Yes, sorry. I came to that due to a discussion on Facebook where I suggested to save the tool to keep selected state. But I was wrong, came here and posted the request, without carefully looking if it’s already in.
