Please add the ability to animate between 2 camera views

I have used the turntable animation many times to record rotation animations. What I think would be extremely useful would be the ability to animate between two Camera Views. If you set up two camera views today, you can switch between the cameras using the camera “View” panel arrows. It almost instantaneously switches, but imagine if you could control the speed and easing between those camera views or even choose to ping pong back and forth between the cameras. I could see so many more people posting their finished artwork this way on social media if we had a way to make the output more exciting. This would still allow you to minify the UI while playing back the animation. I would pay for an addon feature like this to allow me to customize animation types.

To further this thought, it would also be great to be able to:

  • Draw a path similar to how we draw tubes, and have a camera follow that path
  • Animate between any number of camera views, allowing for quick camera switches or smooth animations with easing controls.
  • The ability to animate zoom in combination with rotation.
