Hi everyone,
I have a 3rd-generation iPad Pro running iPadOS 18.6.2, and for the past two days (roughly since Nomad Sculpt auto-updated to version 2.4), the app has been having issues. It doesn’t crash, but it completely freezes. Sometimes it eventually recovers (very rarely), but most of the time I have to force-quit the app.
The issue also happens with extremely simple and lightweight projects, so it’s not a performance or file-size problem.
Is there any way to downgrade?
I have 1.82TB free out of 2TB, so it’s definitely not a storage issue.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or workaround!
You can’t downgrade and it’s not going to be fixed quickly if people are vague on “when it freezes”.
I can fix things very quickly (one day + release the next day) if I have a way to replicate things, but it can take a while if I have no idea what’s happening (I need to know, which, operation causes the crash/freeze).
There are some known issue that I’m fixing but I don’t know if it’s going to fix your issue as it’s missing precision.
Thanks a lot for your quick reply!
Unfortunately, the freeze happens at completely random moments, during any type of operation, so I’m not really able to give you a reliable way to reproduce the issue.
Is there any kind of applicationlog I can extract or send you?
Maybe there’s something in there that could help pinpoint what’s going on.
As a last resort, I can try to screen-record the issue, but since it’s random it may not be very meaningful.
thank you for the wonderful app that is Nomad Sculpt.
in the change log on this forum, it seems there is version 2.6. But my iPad Pro (2024) still shows version 2.5 in the main menu. In the App Store, it does not allow for any updates, as if my version of nomad is fully updated. Any thoughts on this?
