Nomad is still either getting stuck or crashing when I try to Boolean merge (<1M) verticies

THE PLATFORM: iPad (Pro)
NOMAD APP VERSION: 2.7

Over the last 2 years, I’ve historically never had a problem. However, starting less than a week ago, when I try to Boolean new models or past models that worked, the app consistently either crashes or gets stuck around 59% and no amount of waiting encourages it to finish. I’ve tried to decimate parts or merge in pieces without success. Plus, as mentioned, even past models I was able to Boolean no longer let me. Help!

Can you send the file so that I can replicate (email in about menu, top left)

I couldn’t find the “about section” but I did go to the website and found the email address at the bottom. The email with file and screenshot has been sent.

It should be fixed next release.

If I might clarify, the next version being after 2.7? Asking because I updated to yesterday’s release and just hoping to make sure it’s known to still be a challenge.

In the interim, thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

No, next is 2.8.

i have the 2.8 on my brand new ipad pro M5, and i can for sure say that this issue has not been solved. the boolean is still broken.
are there anything else we can do to make this work? workarounds? is it working on desktop version?

The issue has definitely been fixed.
I don’t have any bug reports on Boolean causing crashes or freezes.

If it fails then it’s a different issue.
Boolean is not a 100% foolproof algorithm, it’s highly dependent on the inputs being manifold.
If you can send me the nomad file (email) so that I can replicate, I’ll take a look and see if I can fix it.
