New to sculpting, all critique appreciated!

Just to chime in, use the Tube tool - it’s a dynamically flexible cylinder that can be manipulated via its control points (nodes) into all sorts of squiggly shapes. If you also reduce its x-division topology before validating, you can turn them into square-tubes, perfect for belts (tap the nodes also; white is soft bends, black is sharp) - triple tapping on the Radius button also changes the control of the nodes inflation.

Try to curve tool. You can then scale it on one axis to make it almost flat.

Massive sculpting with great results!

I like it, very stylized. The grid looks weird versus the other materials, you don’t clear the mask on it, maybe?

Thank you so much man!

Actually I painted it slightly dark grey before the pattern overlay Which says ”037037037037037” haha. Just tried to be innovative I guess!

And the pattern how you apply it? it’s a fixed size pattern zoomed over the mesh?

Yeah I use paint brush, check ”screen project” and just paint it over!

Any suggestions?

No no, just thinking about tileable patterns, I have pending to test it.

Absolutely awesome, I love it

Super cool concept everything is there, modeling shading and rendering
