I would need to know if the Windows version offers the same option to rotate when using the move tool and rotating with your finger, which is so useful on the iPad. I have a graphics tablet for my PC with a touch screen and I would like to make the most of its capabilities.
I am also curious whether this move and rotate function is somehow implemented in the desktop version. I mean the function shown in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krc7hH0fEdc . On a tablet, this feature requires two touch points. However, most graphic tablets for drawing on PC only support the stylus and you cannot use this function or I don’t know how. There are a few graphics tablets with a touch option, but they are a minority and they are relatively more expensive. This function is sometimes very useful and I sometimes turn on finger sculpting support on my tablet just for it to use it with a stylus. If it were somehow implemented plus 3dmouse support, I imagine that it would be possible to work on any graphics tablet connected to a PC.
Alejandro_Santos If you have a graphics tablet with touch, check the demo version to see if it supports this function.
if your tablet supports multitouch yes it works.
You can also simulate if you hold shift/ctrl/alt (but only if you don’t hold the “normal” shortcut).
I have a Huion Kamvas Pro 19. I think it’s multi-touch because I can move around perfectly with my fingers in the Nomad 3D environment, but when I try to use the move and rotate option like on an iPad, it doesn’t work. I’ll keep investigating with key combinations.
I finally discovered the problem: when you use the stylus on the tablet, multitouch does not work, and in this case, you need to coordinate the stylus and your finger. To use this system in Windows, we must enable the use of a mouse or be able to paint with our finger in order to combine this technique. I hope this helps.
