Mouse cursor disappears when using a wacom tablet with macbooks

I have 2 macbook pros. Both loaded with the latest beta version 2.3 of Nomad. As soon as I start moving the pen on the tablet the pointer disappears. Happens on both macbooks. One is an M1 and the other an M4
