Matts stuff

Had to take a break for a bit due to a minor hand injury, felt good to be able to get back into it last night.

The new randomisaton options are great for lazy skin detailing. Crease brush with high translation randomness does skin pores, clay brush with the built in 3 strokes alpha does general directional wrinkles, the same alpha rotated 90 degrees and some more randomness does lips.

Glad to see you again! Great model! And yes, randomisation is very powerful feature.

A take on the bull from ‘Bully for Bugs’, probably my favourite WB Chuck Jones cartoon.

Thanks.

Second print worked today, very happy! Fingers crossed, I think I know what I was doing wrong the first few times, getting borderline confident now…

Messing around with asymmetry and more stylised sharper features based on some great reference I found.

That is a super nice pose!
You could have given him a little base at least.
Would make this nice render more shining.

Heh, I intentionally avoided a stand because I want to make sure he can free-stand when 3d printed.

Been doing tests with rigid body sims to see if he’s balanced enough, had to do a few tweaks…

Based on great concept by bouss_bouss on twitter/instagram. Chest is sculpted, everything else are primitives or tubes with profiles and scale/twist.
