I love all things Alien/Aliens so I’ll definitely be making more Xenos in the future.
There’s sooo much to learn. I worked on the sculpt for a week and I spent a few hours yesterday painting and setting up lights. Man… The lighting alone is going to be a big mountain to climb, I don’t know anything about that kind of stuff. Light types, placement, all those post processing settings, environment settings. It’s a lot. It’ll come together, one piece at a time. I’m not in a hurry.
A couple weeks ago, I downloaded this app for my tablet on a whim and immediately fell in love. I’ve been drawing in Krita for a little over 2 years and figured I’d try out 3D stuff and see what it’s like. Nomad has completely taken over with no signs of slowing. I’ve barely done any of my daily drawing practice.
DrugFreeDave, SoutherGFX, and Making Things… so thankful for their tutorials. There’s enough there to make anything and everything. Anyway, I felt the need to join up here and hang out, get inspired by all the amazing artists here, and participate in the community.
