In ZBrush, you can press the Spacebar to instantly bring up a brush size slider right under your cursor, which is super fast for making adjustments on the fly.
In Nomad, I only know two ways:
-
Dragging the slider on the left panel
-
Tapping the
[and]keys (slow…).
It feels a disruptive to my sculpting flow. So my question is:
Is there a hidden setting, a gesture, or a faster method to pop up a brush size adjustment right where my stylus is?
The reason I have to move the cursor all the way to the left edge to adjust the brush size and strength significantly increases hand fatigue. Also, using the [ and ] keys creates a 2-3 second delay to reach a satisfactory brush size.
The PC version is causing a major workflow problem and significant fatigue.
On tablet, I can directly manipulate the brush size and strength with my left hand. This is impossible in the PC version.
This isn’t just an inconvenience; it’s a fundamental limitation that severely hinders professional workflow and speed. We need a solution like an on-cursor control pop-up.
If implementing a pop-up is difficult, I would at least like the brush size and strength adjustment interface to be movable or repositionable on the screen.
This would already be a huge improvement, allowing us to place it closer to our work area to minimize mouse travel and fatigue.
