Hey guys! Ever since one of the updates a while ago, my entire UI was reset to a new one and some new background scenes were added. The new default background has been a dark one ever since, and it won’t save with the last artwork anymore. So every time i start a new project now, it is reset back to that dark background color. I have been hoping to figure out how to save it or that it would save itself somehow. i have researched online and searched my ui unable to figure it out and am tired of setting everything over and over again, so if someone could help me, i would really appreciate it!

I created a empty default project with settings I like and use that for every new project. I do mainly hard surface modelling so I setup the background colours I like, a cutter group for re-usable boolean meshes, a group for lighting, etc. I removed the default sphere and added a cube.
Yeah! That was it!!! 
i never noticed that new section for some reason. Thank you so much! It was checked by default. I unchecked them all and it saved my last used settings again!

I got it holger filled me in on the new menu that i never noticed. It had been checked by default to reset the scene background and environment.
