I want to set up different folders like the Kenny patterns provided. I made a new folder in Program files… assets/alphas folder. I closed Nomad Sculpt and restarted but they don’t show up.
How do imported brushes work? I don’t see them in the assets/alphas folder so are they linked to the external hard drive where I keep my extra materials or are they fully imported into the Nomad Sculpt folders somewhere?
What’s the best way to bulk import brushes and have them be in their categorized folders?
Thanks!
Only curious - what do you mean when you say brush ? A tool like smooth / clay tool so a JSON file ?
Because a alpha is only a image - png/jpg …
And a new folder shows only up if at least 1 image is inside the new folder.
And you can also create / organize the alphas inside nomad - just rename :folder/alpha name
Then a new folder is created with the image inside…
Bulk import via files app : copy / or drag complete folder with images/alphas inside - then drop it inside the alphas folder - then restart nomad
Maybe Android is different… there are restrictions…. but windows should work like this…
Ah sorry!
They’re just jpg alphas.
I could try the rename /folder/image technique but manually renaming each one seems a bit of a pain.
I see now there are two folders that hold the Kenney patterns:
C:\Program Files\Nomad Sculpt\assets\alphas
C:\Program Files\Nomad Sculpt\assets\data\alphas
So maybe that has something to do with it?
But the alphas I imported, I can see them in the program, but not in these folders. And I added a folder
C:\Program Files\Nomad Sculpt\assets\alphas\Scale and Skin
But it doesn’t show up in the program.
I can bulk import things but it doesn’t put them in a specific Folder
Data folder is only for previews
