Hello!
Would anyone know how I can add resolution to these shapes? The bat has 50k vertices! That seems like a lot 
And the cylander (belt) has 20k!

Try subdivision and remesh

For these edges, I guess you must smooth or trim to sharpen them, and subdivide and remesh
If all is one element, try to split it before or create a cylinder, increase resolution and with the mask tool draw again the Batman logo and extract the mask.
You can fix it in several ways, no one is better or worse, try and experiment with the tools.
