Thank you for the new update!
I am not sure if it is a bug or user error, but when trying to use the lasso tool for face groups, it reproduces the group onto a phantom symmetry line on my model, even if symmetry is turned off.
In your photos it looks like (local) symmetry is turned on ?
Yes, but like I said, even if turned off, it does that.
And if I use the dot brush instead of lasso, it is fine. It doesn’t do the symmetry duplicate thing.
I think the lasso tool works on front and back facing vertices, by default, if you go to the setting shown and tick “front facing only” I think that might solve the problem
