Head Base & Helmets

Hi All!
I Make a base head to future helmets test.
I´m so happy with this program, its amazing. Only some problems with my iPad (No Pro). I think I touched polygons limit…








This is my first “Spider Vision” helmet (WIP) based on my color concept.

Btw, for helmets tests, you maybe want to check the decimate function for you head? It works very well and can save quite some polys.

Some of the best work i’ve seen in terms of this style, what is your process, shapes etc within nomad and do you render/paint in anything else?

Same process as other sculpture programs.
-Start from primitives
-Create base shapes with Move, Crease, Flaten, Smooth & Pinch.
-I’m increasing voxel remeshing while the work progresses
-Make 3D details with alpha textures
-Painted with some layers (I can’t do many layers on my iPad because it fails)
-Some Decimation becose have 6m limit in my iPad
-Render PBR with 2 or 3 lights

Thats awesome! The fact its all in nomad is incredible :slight_smile: can i ask what ram usage is your ipad? I think mine allows around 2700gb ram

So nice. Really wanna know how you go about making these hard surface models. I keep using the trim tool to get the flat surfaces but my armor seems so disconnected. I love this one, nice concept and execution, really get the spider vibe!
