Can't use my stylus pen

Hello,

I’m experiencing a stylus compatibility issue with Nomad Sculpt on a newly released Lenovo tablet.

Device: Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2

Stylus: Lenovo Tab Pen Plus

OS: Android16

Nomad Sculpt: Version 2.8

The Lenovo stylus works normally in other apps, including ibisPaint and the system Notes app, so the stylus and tablet hardware appear to be functioning correctly.

However, in Nomad Sculpt:

Touch input with my finger works normally.

The stylus cannot interact with the UI at all.

The stylus also does not interact with the sculpting canvas.

I enabled all available stylus-related options under Gestures, but this did not resolve the issue.

So it appears that Nomad Sculpt may not be receiving or recognizing the stylus input from this particular Lenovo device, rather than this being a pressure-sensitivity issue.

Since the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is a relatively new device, I’m wondering if its stylus input implementation is not yet supported by the Android version of Nomad Sculpt.

Could you please let me know whether this device/stylus combination is expected to be supported, and whether support might be added in a future update?

I solved this problem.

I’m leaving this post on the forum for other Lenovo tablet users.

On the tablet, go to Settings > Pen Settings > Select Apps for Palm Rejection > Exclude the Nomad Sculpt app.

After excluding it from palm rejection, the pen recognition worked normally.
