I know you can create alpha texture maps to create the falloff of a brush. This takes a lot more time to create though. Most 2D paint programs & 3D sculpting programs have this feature for brushes.
Do you mean falloff along the length of a stroke, which can be somewhat controlled in Nomad using the pencil pressure? There is a brush falloff (point of contact falloff) which is the fallof curve beneath where you choose brush alpha in the Stroke Menu.
You need to scroll down. There are a bunch of more options including falloff.
You can even draw your own curve.
