If it’s easy to do, this could be a nice feature for adding stickers overlays for reference that give the biggest possible working area:

I too would like this but for a different reason. I would like to import empty black line rectangles to act as panel borders when working out composition of a scene.
Makes sense too
For my case I could just put that reference pic in the background too, but I was working on the nose details for the quark character then of course the background ref is hidden by the big head
