Ver 1.72 - Decimate ignores "uniform faces" slider?

With the new version the “uniform faces” value does not seem to have any noticeable impact anymore. No matter if I set it to 0% or 100% - the results look pretty much identical. Is this intended and what

“… decimate: quality should be consistent no matter the mesh coordinates scale…”

in the change log means?

It means the decimation algorithm will run similarly whether the mesh is big or small.

Concerning Uniform faces, it’s not ignored but maybe the lowest value tends to produce less elongated triangles. It shouldn’t be much of an issue.
