Use curvature as a brush filter instead of depth?

I can’t really figure out how to get the three sliders for the depth filter in the paint brush settings to produce a usable result for me.

However, the curvature post process is exactly what I want, but I realize that’s screen space.

Is it possible to instead use that for a paint brush filter/mask or is it possible to transfer/bake the curvature to a permanent color? (Guess I could do that in Blender though with the pointiness node in Cycles…)
