Traditional Clothing Sculpt Study – Imani Studio | Nomad Sculpt

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share one of my recent clothing sculpting studies created in Nomad Sculpt.

This project is inspired by traditional South Asian fashion and was developed as a personal practice to improve my workflow for garment creation. The outfit shown here is based on a long embroidered men’s jacket, where I focused on clean proportions, fabric flow, ornamental patterns, and overall silhouette.

The renders include multiple views:

  • Front View
  • 3/4 Perspective
  • Side View
  • Back View
  • Top View
  • Embroidery Close-up
  • Turntable Preview

The embroidery details are still a work in progress, and I’m continuing to refine the folds, edge definition, and surface details.

I work under Imani Studio, where we explore clothing concepts and fashion-inspired digital artwork. Creating garments in 3D has been a great way to experiment with construction and decorative elements before moving to other stages of the design process.

I’d really appreciate any feedback on:

  • Cloth proportions
  • Embroidery placement
  • Fabric folds
  • Topology/workflow
  • Anything else that could help improve the sculpt

Thanks for taking the time to look through the renders. Any suggestions or critiques are always welcome!

Overall looks really good. Folds/wrinkles/seams in general look convincing.

Not sure what the fabric is supposed to be, but screenshot number 6 implies leather. If this is the case crack on, but if it’s a weaved fabric the texture needs to indicate as such. I feel like the pocket with the handkerchief needs to be bulging slightly more or it looks stuck on to rather than taking space inside the pocket but that’s pretty minor.

Also on the last figure in the turntable the feet are backwards.

Really good job though

Edit I’ve crossed out parts of my original text above. I don’t know if you used AI to enhance something you already did or to troll or what?

Is this an AI image? Yes, the feet are backwards… and also, the bottom of the image has this:
