Texture update how to fix looping texture and possible bug from recent texture update

So there has been a new texture update i recently heard of, and i wanna do a 3D model with a textured 2D eyes and mouth but uh i dont want something like this weird loop effect thing how do i get rid of it, also when i scale it up and down, it didnt scale but get cut out, is there anyway to achive back to an old way of texture? Cuz i model with 2d eyes and mouth

Btw this is same goes for box and sphere and plane which i usually made face on, so if theres any idea how to achive the old way of giving a texture tell me, if not heres a suggestion to the dev if they can go legacy texturing, also btw this is the kind of model i did, 2d textured plane face

I eventually found out about texture not following you, but i still havent achive the old way of the texture as the scale still cut it off and now its way to the side when i turn off the loop on parameter of both of x and y, also by any chances is this a bug? If so i hope it will get fixed because it looks like a bug to me

Left is the old texture styleling which as you can see they dont have the triplanar

Your models don’t have UVs, enable it back (the default).
scene->add → uv (or primitive settings → uv)
