Hello,
I have a suggestion regarding the Japanese translation in the current UI. Currently, the terms “Shortcuts” and “Bindings” are causing a lot of confusion for Japanese users because the nuances do not match standard software conventions.
- “Shortcuts” is currently translated as “ショートカット”. In standard Japanese software, this term almost always means “Keyboard Shortcuts” (Key bindings).
- “Bindings” is currently translated as “バインド”.
Because of this, Japanese users instinctively look for keyboard configurations under “ショートカット”, but it actually opens the menu for editing screen buttons, which is very confusing.
To make the UI much more intuitive for Japanese users, I would highly recommend the following changes:
- Change “Bindings” to “ショートカットキー” or “キー割り当て” (This makes it clear that it configures keyboard/pencil shortcuts).
- Change “Shortcuts” to “クイックメニュー"or"ツールカスタマイズ” (This perfectly describes the function of customizing on-screen tools and layout).
Thank you for considering this improvement for Japanese users!
