Smooth shading issue


Does anyone know what is causing this issue with the separation of faces when enabling smooth shading?

inverted normals maybe? because of the color brown versus white

I noticed an issue with smooth shading too. I like to keep it off to have the triangles/square rough texture, but today when I up unwrapped then baked ,the smooth shading turned on automatically .i tried many times even reset all settings to default.


It’s for normal mapping, smooth should usually be ON.
But I’ll enable it only if normal map is enabled.
Also, you can disable smooth per material in the material menu.

Tkx :pray:i was disabling it from the material tab , where else can i turn it off from?
