Slider gesture idea for small increments

Had an idea for sliders, might sound a little weird at first.

Moving the finger up/down while dragging for fine adjustments is already great but if you want to increase something from let’s say 1.234 to 1.235 it’s tricky because you have to jiggle a little first to “activate” the slider (inform Nomad you don’t want to scroll vertically).

But with that jiggling you’re already at 1.678 or so.

My idea was that a second finger tap while dragging resets the value to the value the slider had before dragging. This way you could increment by a small value by dragging/moving away quickly then tapping and then dragging a bit further.

At the moment a second finger tap while dragging lets you interact with Nomad’s UI normally, which is probably not wanted.

That can’t be true because the offset is taken into account, there’s no “jump” in the slider value when you start to interact with the slider.

As for second finger slider thing honestly I’m just sick of thinking about UI, I’m fine with the way things are, there are more important things.
Also it is intended for the ui to support multi finger although no support important (layer intensity sliders, radius, etc)

It’s probably just the fact that the finger is already moving causing the “jump”. The example number might also be a exaggerated but it’s tricky to de/increase by 0.01 for example.

About not wanting to think about UI anymore - fair enough. Thanks anyway for having been checking!
