[Sleeps] Free Fully Posable Basemesh/Mannequin

Here’s a posable basemesh that you can download for free.

It’s mainly to help block out poses pretty quickly. I designed it to be a blank canvas to sculpt on top of.

Feel free to use it for whatever you want, credit is not required, but is appreciated! However, please do not redistribute the basemesh as-is without credit.

Posing can mostly be done by just selecting and rotating the associated part. There are limits, after which the mesh will poke through itself.

The mesh is mirrored by default for symmetrical sculpting but to pose the left and right sides independently, you’ll want to hit apply on the mirror modifiers.

Update V1.1:

I’ve made an update to this, the biggest of this is that I now have a masculine variant and I’ve added some pectoral muscles. I also tweaked the pivots just a little bit.

Dude I love what you’re doing do you think you will ever make animal presets like dogs cats lion bears foxes birds etc it eould be really cool to see that

I’d love to do more in the future, but I’m not well versed in creature anatomy just yet. I’m still focused on Humans and Humanoids in my learning path but I’ll definitely try making creature ones when I feel comfortable enough to do so.
