The PC version 2.3.35 crashes every time I try to use the shortcut search bar. Files I created or edited with this version are incompatible when I try to open them with version 2.3.32; they simply close.
On the Android version, on my Xiaomi 12T and my MatePad tablet, the keyboard doesn’t activate when I try to use the shortcut search bar.
That’s normal. The nom file format isn’t always forward compatible, you are meant to use the latest version (or at least stick to the same version).
In practice it works most of the time, I only changed twice the format since the day it exists.

I can’t replicate the crash. Does it crash when you start typing or try clicking on it?

Which version? Did you enable/disable “Use Nomad dialog” in the interface menu?
I understand about the versions, it just hadn’t happened to me before. On PC, I click and when I start pressing a key, it closes. On the Android version, I’ve enabled and disabled the Nomad dialog option, and it still doesn’t activate the keyboard. I’ve also closed and reopened the app, and nothing changes. In both cases, I’m using the latest version.
The keyboard does work when using numeric input in Gizmo or naming brushes; I’ve only noticed that it closes the program when using the shortcut search bar.
For Android, you don’t have a bluetooth keyboard connected?
On my cell phone and tablet, I only use virtual keyboards for convenience.
