Prevent objects from overlapping

If I’ve created something like a room, how do I make my “walls” and “floor” solid so that as I create furniture the pieces can’t pass through them?

Is that even possible? If not a make solid would be a great feature. Even to help line up something like a sword a character might hold, so that it doesn’t just mush into the hand.

Right now It’s not possible. They’re more features that you’d find in a game engine/physics simulation than a sculpting tool.
