My works in Nomad

Just learned how to UV and bake in Nomad and I’m in love. :joy: Fun sculpt of a Red Orc from Solo Leveling. Gotta go the old school route in exploding the mesh for a LP bake. Not many pieces thankfully, but I am very happy with the results. The teeth I could had painted more blue for the density quad remesher results, but whatever. Im happy!

thank you! the UV mapping I kinda figured out based on the UV options give the option to base them off your poly paint colors. Kinda need to visualize how something would unwrap with the least distortion and paint your different colors in those areas. So I painted the front side of the ears along with the entire front of the face along the jaw line. I painted the inside of his mouth along the rim of his inner lips as another color. Etc… I think also, you need to make sure you always bake scale and rotation of anything you are about to quad remesh, bake and or UV map. I feel like I notice things got a lot cleaner after I baked any rotation and scale back to 1.

40k fan art. I made a few things chunky so I could 3d print this. I made a stand with a little number dial that can rotate too(dont have that in these images). Not that I would use this in an actual table top game, but I like the idea of individual figures having their own health dial built in as I have played a lot of table top games that you have to track health with dice, little gems, or a dial that all follow a character on the board and cause clutter on the board.

These are actually older pieces from like 2 years ago. I made this venom and wolverine completely on my galaxy note phone with nomad. I love that this app works so well on the phone when I dont have my ipad with me.

Posting this goblin, but don’t plan on finishing. I lost interest as of now. maybe I’ll come back to it with fresh eyes later on. But thought I would post. :upside_down_face: :man_shrugging:

another old one I made on my galaxy note phone. But I exported the file to my ipad to update the textures with the RaZum materials. Made this SO much cooler!

thank you Jim!

Working on a zombie horse. After making the skull, I’m just now kinda sketching out ideas for the body language. Don’t want to do a full horse, just a bust. But thought the front legs kicking up would be a nice touch. Laying down the head muscles so I know where I want torn skin revealing muscle and skull. Will also do a little bit of this muscle treatment to the neck and legs.

Not done as I still have to finish out the front legs. BUT! @mestela posted a tip on some one’s request for smoke and I wanted to give that quick trick of pulling some reference online and it works really well. Thanks, Mestela!
