Mesh follows path

Hello, i was dreaming of a tool looking at the new fonctions Stephane made with duplicators.
A mesh follows a path for tail, limbs, tentacles, antennas. The best option would be to make group of editable primitives follow a path to keep easy procedural changes if needed, like client changes on concept part of projects. Best regards.

Deformers (path, bend, inflate, smooth) would be nice for the future.

I think the best way would be if there were special “deformer layers” in the layer menu where the controls (curve, etc) would show only when the layer is selected
