Thank you! Yes, I will upload some additional model shots asap. Thanks again!
Haven’t seen your work before but this is some of the best realism I’ve ever seen using nomad, especially your materials and painting. Amazing! If you ever decided to upload some screen recordings of your process many would love to watch. Are your works mostly just sculpt and vertex paint, or do you sometimes import external textures normal maps etc? Either way, incredible stuff! (I think it also shows how much nomads renderer is capable of!)
1st - Thank you for the kind words. 2nd…I may sound very ignorant…but I am just now feeling like I am learning what Nomad can do. I have just recently, in like the past year, tried my hand in 3d modeling beyond a game PlayStation called DREAMS - so I am still learning terms/tools etc. I tried blender for a bit and kind of fell off the train as it was so frustrating to learn to me. So, I don’t even know how to do normal maps or what that really means (i’d like to learn). So far all my sculpts have been just manually sculpting and then mostly using the stamp brush with random alphas I’ve collected/made until I get something I think works. I use layers a lot to try and tweak textures and colors too. Just a lot of messing around until I stumble on something that works or looks good (sometimes…lol). Again, thank you so much and feel free to direct me to some tutorials on texture maps etc.
Thanks for reply. I would suggest you just keep going as you are, you are getting amazing results!
Exccelent work, especially still life.
