When working on a project it’s unpractical to have a fixed folder for the Nomad files. Would be nice with a proper explorer open/save file dialog.
Also when importing a nomad file into a scene, browsing through the file content like with Blender’s Append function would be great. Often you want to pick one asset in a bigger scene.
Thanks for an awesome app!
There is already an import and export button, it should work as expected.
The export → Nomad acts as a “save as…” in most desktop app.
Also if you want to “save” the file on disk directly (outside the Nomad internal folder, you can use the “in place” option in the Files menu.
Browser object list on import is lot of work, probably won’t do it for now.

Thanks for your answer! I was thinking of a more traditional way of file handling: Open/save file lets you browse the file system, and opening a .nom file anywhere in the file system opens up Nomad Sculpt. I understand this will deviate more from how the iPad app works.
Thanks again for a great app!
