Hi, The new storing history along side the file either embeded or separately is very cool. But it would be nice to have an option to delete history in the same menu. Either entire stored history or up to a selected level or both. This way if I don’t find any need for the sculpt history after a certain time I can delete the history and save some file size.
Starting with version 2.9.26, a “History Settings” button was added to the File menu, which includes an option to delete the entire history.
Additionally, it has long been possible to delete the entire history by long-pressing the history area on the bottom bar; this functionality remains available.
I do not believe there is currently a feature to delete history only up to a specific selected point. While I haven’t found the lack of this feature to be a problem, I do think it would be convenient to have![]()
Let me correct that. Upon checking the latest PC version, I found that a feature for partially deleting the history was already included![]()
Here is a further correction
the “Clear history” button in the File menu does not simply wipe everything; it can also perform a partial deletion linked to the highlighted history items.
Woah that was really helpful. Thank you so much for your comment
