Looking through the Toolbox (or alpha list) can disrupt concentration and workflow with all the scrolling (or searching of an expanded toolbox), if you have several collections of custom brushes and alphas. Adding buttons in the shortcut bay to select individual folders holding each collection (or user defined selection of brushes/alphas), and one to quickly return to the default set of brushes/alphas, would be helpful. Functionality to add/remove available brushes/alphas to /from their respective user defined folders would be nice also. I think it would help to unclutter the screen, keeping the toolbox/alpha list displays efficiently smaller.
You don’t have to use the toolbox at all actually if you just make a custom floating window i think that might be less of a hassle ![]()
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll have to take some time to figure it out (still getting used to features) ![]()
You can make them here! They can even be minimized as well and look like a little button on the canvas
that way you can avoid clutter. It actually offers a whole lot of functions to be put in not just brushes hehe
Thanks for that. I had found some very comprehensive tutorials on youtube for customizing the UI. I’ve just got to jump in and try it.
Is there a chance to add labels to the minimized window icon (like the tool labels) and select a color for the icon as well (or a selected tool icon in the shortcut window for quick id)? **I’m in my 70s and can use all the visual aids I can get. ![]()
In the interface section (in the same section as the shortcuts) you can pick custom colors! maybe select „high contrast button - on" option and use a vibrant color for it?
I dont know if there is custom labels and buttons for the minimized icon itself i just know you can make custom icons for the brushes ![]()
