No offense to the Peter Jackson’s 3 part epic, but I grew up on the rankin bass cartoon version of the hobbit and this will always be my Thorin

Rankin Bass Return of the King is a classic. I watched it again a few months ago and still enjoyed it.

Playing around with some color… not getting exactly what I want, but still playing around with techniques… I downloaded a bunch of HDRI maps to help get the feel/lighting I wanted, then post processed by doing a few color shifts… can’t wait for @stephomi next release which has DOF, AO and other post processing effects… SSS is needed to make convincing skin tho…
