This reminds me, I’ve got to design an alien gun for the other sculpt I’m working on. Still haven’t decided on going this route with the older designs for a ray gun type or design something completely random.

These older retro ones are always still fun. And technically they would still work for what I was thinking, but I was considering going a bit more alien in design. Unfortunately, now that I look at them again, the sketches I made were a bit too terrestrial sci-fi rather than alien sci-fi. I’m not much of a weapon designer, so it might still take another 10-20 sketches before I unshackle myself from my preconceived notions of a “gun”.
More organic maybe? The alien hands will be define the shape too
Hadn’t tried organic. Been working on a few sketches since you suggested it. So far, I don’t think they would work, but on the other side, these are starting to be weird enough that I’m going to need to make some of these in Nomad anyway…lol.
