Cannot purchase via Google Play (Unlocked Bootloader) - Is there a direct payment option?

Hi Stephane and the community,

I am trying to purchase the Pro license of Nomad Sculpt for my Android tablet, but I am completely blocked by Google Play Protect.

My device is a Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro (China hardware). I had to unlock the bootloader to flash a Global ROM, which causes the device to fail Google’s Play Integrity check (flagged as “Uncertified”). Because of this, Google Play prevents me from downloading the app properly or completing the in-app purchase. I also tried the Huawei AppGallery workaround, but unfortunately, it did not work on my setup.

I am currently waiting to integrate Nomad Sculpt into my 3D printing workflow, and this licensing issue is the only thing holding me back. I’ve sent an email to support, but I understand the inbox might be swamped right now.

I have a few questions and would love your advice:

  1. Is there any alternative way to pay directly (e.g., via the website, Stripe, or PayPal) and get a standalone APK with a license key?

  2. Is there any workaround to fix this Google Play license/certification issue for unlocked devices?

  3. Alternatively, is it possible to download and install the app from Google Play without the strict Google Play license verification?

Use huawei store, appGallery.
Otherwise no alternative, and not a bug.
